ScanToPDF ("we", "our", or "the app") is developed by toinfinity. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

• Documents and images you scan, edit, or create within the app are stored locally on your device. We do not upload, access, or store your documents on our servers.

1.2 Automatically Collected Information

• Device information (device model, operating system version)
• App version and usage analytics (via Firebase Analytics)
• Crash reports and diagnostic data (via Firebase Crashlytics)
• Purchase information (product ID, transaction ID, platform, country, language) when you make an in-app purchase

1.3 Camera and Photo Library Access

• The app requests camera access to scan documents. Photos and scans remain on your device.
• The app requests photo library access to import images for scanning and editing. We do not upload these images.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

• Provide and improve the app's functionality
• Process in-app purchases and verify subscription status
• Diagnose crashes and technical issues
• Analyze aggregate usage patterns to improve the user experience
• We do NOT sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Data Storage and Security

• All documents, scans, and edits are stored locally on your device.
• We do not have access to the content of your scanned documents.
• Text recognition (OCR) runs entirely on your device. Document images are never uploaded to a server for processing.
• Analytics and crash data are processed by Google Firebase and stored in accordance with Google's privacy practices.
• Purchase tracking data is stored on our secure servers to manage subscription status.

4. Third-Party Services

The app uses the following third-party services:

• Firebase Analytics (Google) - for usage analytics
• Firebase Crashlytics (Google) - for crash reporting
• Apple StoreKit - for in-app purchases and subscription management on iOS
• Google Play Billing - for in-app purchases and subscription management on Android

5. Children's Privacy

The app is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

6. Your Rights

You can:

• Delete all locally stored documents and data by deleting the app
• Opt out of analytics collection through your device settings
• Manage or cancel subscriptions in your store account settings (Apple ID on iOS, Google Play on Android)

7. Subscriptions

• Payment is charged to the store account you purchased through - your Apple ID on iOS, or your Google Play account on Android - at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in that same store account's settings.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the app.
